At Awen we produce limited runs of boutique wines designed to reflect the beauty and bounty of Southern Oregon. Our wines exemplify the bond between the Earth, the Sun and the Vine.
Our 2019 Vermentino is sourced from Quail Run’s Crater View Vineyard in the Rogue Valley AVA. The aroma offers a bouquet of lemon zest, white flowers and pear leading to flavors of candied lemons, hints of almonds and white peach. We crushed and soaked the grapes then barrel fermented them in neutral French oak barrels.
